The Swansea & Districts Chamber of Commerce Inc, has existed in many forms for the last 100 years however, as the group evolved and changed to meet new challaneges it became obvious

To create a vibrant & diverse 2281 Network in harmony with its unique surroundings for the betterment of business and the 2281 community.

Mission Statement

The mission of the 2281 Network is to encourage and foster  business growth and  development by facilitation and promoting events and activities which not only enhance business growth but will encourage the development of the 2281 District.

To maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment for business, families and the 2281 Community and to encourage a vibrant and friendly atmosphere for visitors to the 2281 District so that the 2281 District will be remembered as a favourable destination to return to time and time again.

What Does the 2281 Network Do?

The 2281 Network is more than just a chamber of commerce we support and assist all business by monitoring and making comment on your behalf. This involves lobbying, representation and liason at local, state and federal levels of government. Especially if you have issues or concerns with matters which impact on business, the environment, safety and welfare, we can identify the best point of reference for you.

The 2281 Network supports and assists business and community organisations to coordinate Events and Promotions by way of providing assistance with sponsorship, funding, event applications (council requirements), risk and traffic management plans together with providing the neccessary insurances required for holding events and promotions.

Current Events Supported:

• Carols by Candlelight - held each December

• New Years Eve Fireworks - held ever 31st December

• Jazz in the Pines - held each January

• Youth Festivals - held each year
